The Winchester Model 1912 pump-action shotgun.
The Model 12 was designed by Winchester engineer Thomas Crosley Johnson, and was based in part on the M1893/97 design by John Browning. It was an entirely new design initially available in 20 gauge only (12 and 16 gauge guns were not sold until 1914).
This shotgun has seen combat in World War I, World War II, Korean War and the Vietnam War. It has been used in these conflicts by the United States Army, Navy and Marine Corps.
It is first seen in the mission The Priest where it is used by the Morello's gangsters who come in the church at the end of the level. It can be seen and used in other levels from then on. In the mission A Trip To The Country, it is Tommy's main weapon.
It holds 8 shells and Tommy can carry 32 more. It's good even for medium range, but it shows it's true power in short ranges and close quarters combats. It is the only weapon in the game who doesn't loose unfired rounds when reloading. The shotgun is also used by police when player reaches high enough wanted level.
The weapon has also a little bug as well as all the weaponry in the game, but for a pump-action shotgun it is the most useful. Using this bug you can fire with a Tommy-gun velocity. Just press the crouch button (S usually), then press and hold your fire button, then start to hit the jump button as fast as you can. Don't sure if it is still working on 1.1 version but on 1.0 it definetly does.
