The War Hero pack offers two new military-inspired uniforms for Vito to wear and two cars. The ‘40s wouldn’t be complete without a war hero. Vito plays the role well in the War Hero DLC pack. Drive two military style vehicles and notice the superior handling in all weather conditions. Vito looks sharp in two new military outfits including fatigues and a dress uniform.

The cars included in the pack are the Walter Military and the Walter Utility. The uniforms are the Service dress complete with accoutrements and the Battle dress in olive drab.

AvailabilityEdit

Originally the pack was only available, along with the Vegas Pack, by pre-ordering the game from Gamestop/EBgames or Amazon.co.uk. It has since been made available for download through the Xbox Live Marketplace for 240 MSP and the PlayStation Store and Steam for $2.99.

The pack is also included in the Xbox Platinum Hits Edition, the PS3 Greatest Hits Edition and the Mafia II Directors Cut for PC.

TriviaEdit

• The service uniform has several inconsistencies with the Vito's story. Most noticeably, the usage of the 101st Airborne patch rather than that of the 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment or 82nd Airborne, of which the 504th PIR is a part of. In addition, the uniform has three ribbons, even though vito only mentions two medals he received, though the third ribbon may represent the European Theater of Operations medal.
