  • I thought it might be interesting to post some of the changes and bugs that have been fixed with the latest update. I've noticed quite a few, but a couple thing I thought were most noticeable were the vehicles delivery will now deliver multiple cars to the same destination. If you have a new one delivered, your original car will stay there, but when you order a third the second will disappear. It seems to follow that pattern for as long as you stand there ordering more. A few other things.

    • They also got rid of the enemy inside the Titans driving around Downtown.
    • Most cops now wear the cowboy hat.
    • Hank McGahee the vehicle delivery guy has a new character and clothing.

    • Here's a few more things I've noticed.

      • Some of the bugs with the trafficking missions have been fixed, but not all of them.
      • The rackets in the home districts with the lieutenants' offices now show their current and max earn on their icons.
      • The arms dealer leaves sooner after you exit the menu, which seems to have created more problems than it solved.

    • They fixed police AI so when the dispatcher perk is active they no longer make the same comments as if it wasn't on.

      Well this didn't happen for me. I saw the same behavior as before, the associate being busy after the second one.

      Well, I didn't just stand there ordering one car after the next, I was at Big Rick's. I customized one car then exited and ordered another. I repeated that 3 or 4 times. In the past, you would have to drive a block or so away before he would deliver a second time. Same thing would happen with the races.

      Well, I didn't just stand there ordering one car after the next, I was at Big Rick's. I customized one car then exited and ordered another. I repeated that 3 or 4 times.       Well I guess it was a glitch because it no longer lets me do it. On my last game I sat there at the Big Rick's in Delray Hollow and ordered car after car while I customized all my favorites and it worked fine, now it's back to the way it used to be.

      I was about to post that it does actually turn off the blue awareness lines, while doing Burek's mission to steal the cars from the police impound I used it and they didn't show, but now they're not showing for any cop long after it ran out of time. I guess it's a bug.

      I might take advantage and see if I can finally get some images of the cops without the blues lines all over them.

    • Well I managed to get some good images while the blue lines were gone, but I couldn't find any with the regular hat. I kind of want to see if that's a bug before I upload them in the cowboy hats.

    • I'm not sure if it's a bug or not, but all the cops that spawn at fixed locations now seem to have cowboy hats. The only time I see the ones with regular hats is when they spawn in police zones or just driving around, and they're not that common.

    • Well I stopped some of their cars and got images, they're all cowboy hats too.

      As far as it being a bug, it's hard to say. I'd have to do some research on New Orleans, but here in Texas cowboy hats are reserved for Sheriff departments and Texas Rangers, I've never seen a city police department wear them, unless it's some small rural town, but they typically have sheriffs not police. Of course these days you don't see any police wearing them outside of some kind of special event. Sheriffs and Rangers still wear the cowboy hats though.

    • Well I managed to beat all the exotic track records in the Nightcrawler, not by much, a few seconds each, but it's doable. I came in 2.88 seconds under on that Big Easy race. What the car lacks in speed it makes up for in handling. I find that cars like the Trsviata handle too well, sometimes a little give when you corner actually helps.

      That and it will dominate the other cars when they get in your way, and if one comes along side trying to pass, simply veer into them and shove them into oncoming traffic or a parked car. Those light exotic cars don't stand a chance.

    • So it seems like they added more doors on the science center. I suppose I might have just not noticed them before, but there's one on the first floor in the stairwell with the tac-vest in it and there's now two entrances on the front, it seems like there was only one there before, the one to the left as you face the building.

    • I think the two front entrances have always been there, and the one near the Tac-Vest was there before the last update.

    • I remember there being doors, I just don't remember them being usable.

    • Seems like they finally got the lock picking working right. Before he would go from smashing the car window to picking the lock, but that would eventually lead to him just opening the car door as it were left unlocked. Now he seems to be continuing to pick them.

    • I may very well be mistaken, but it seems like they've added a new bridge from Southdowns to the island north of it. I only recall seeing the railroad bridge connecting the two together before.

      That was always there, the bridge in the west connects Southdowsn and Tickfaw, the one in the east connects Southdowns and the island.

    • Here's what I've observed about the cops at the Mardi Gras parade in The Home Fires Burn. All the cops you encounter before the cutscene now have cowboy hats, except for the ones near the SWAT van, which have helmets as before. After the cutscene most of them seem to have the old standard hats, especially the ones in the cemetery.
