As most have experienced, this game is full of many bugs, the bugs report threads can testify to that. In my opinion enough time has passed that most should have been fixed by now, but as we know many haven't. I think it's time we begin putting some thought into adding some of the more common ones to the appropriate pages.
We don't typically have a bugs section on pages, but then again there really aren't many to speak of in the previous games. I think the trivia section will work for now, if we find a page that has many persistent bugs listed we can consider adding a Bugs section then.
Most gaming wikis I know of have a policy of confirming a bug by multiple users before they add it to a page, I think this is a sound practice. On the other hand we really don't have many active editors here so this may be a difficult thing to do.
The Fallout wiki uses a verify tag (a template) that they add after bug entries, they then add unconfirmed or verified afterward. Any bug that hasn't been verified after a set time is then removed. We may consider this option. Both that wiki and the Elder Scrolls wiki use a platform template as well to list what platforms has that particular bug. We may want to add something like that as well. These wikis also have a master page for listing just bugs, we may look into that if there ends up being a lot of them
We will also need to establish criteria for what we list. I think major bugs that break the game or a mission should obviously be included, beyond that is a matter of debate. I just don't want them to become a long list of petty or minor things like graphics glitches and so forth.
Let me know what you think.
