Pete Santini is a character in Mafia III.

History[]

Background[]

Pete Santini is the Racket Boss who runs the guns racket in Barclay Mills for Enzo Conti. A goon made good, Pete's job doesn't require much in the way of deep thinking, which is good because Pete isn't much of a deep thinker.

You have to hand it to Enzo and Pete, it's pretty ballsy to haul contraband in by rail, right under the noses of law enforcement. They're good at it, too, especially at bringing "high-priority" merchandise into the city.[1]

Current Operations[]

An operation the size of Marcano's requires a lot of firepower and explosives. These weapons are all brought into New Bordeaux by Santini via his trains at Barclay Railways. What weapons don't go to Marcano, Pete sells on the side at a firing range and testing site in the Bayou.

Aside from the weapons, Santini turns a tidy profit cherry-picking select merchandise off of the rail cars passing through Barclay. His train robbers Ricky Coyle, "Specs" Ermo, and Hollace see that the best stuff gets routed to Santini's train yard for offloading.

Fate[]

In 1968, Santini's racket was taken over by Lincoln Clay, who was working with intel gathered by Connie Demarco. Lincoln damaged Pete's guns operation by killing his personnel, busting up his weapons deals, and destroying the shipments. Once everything fell apart, Santini was drawn out, giving Lincoln the opportunity to confront him. After successfully infiltrating Barclay Railways, Lincoln dealt with Santini and ended his association with the Marcano Crime Family.
