This is a Brodie Gang mission.
"Tam Brodie's boys just hijacked a truckload of cigarettes. The truck is just sitting in a yard over by the Dipton Bridge while the micks figure out what to do with it. You know a guy in Hunters who buys cigarettes in bulk... so help yourself."
This mission is pretty simple and requires you to steal a truckload of Big Break Cigarettes. Drive down and through the gate and park your car in the parking lot. Hide behind the right side wall overlooking the three Irish thugs. If you have grenades, you can throw one at them, possibly killing all three. If not, pull out your weapon and shoot them down.
There will be two more thugs near the truck who will begin firing on you. Once they're dead approach the truck and pull the driver out. Be prepared, as he will draw his weapon and open fire as soon as you do.
Drive the truck to Hunters Point and pull into the marked alley, but don't try to stop at the marker. It's an ambush and one of them has a Molotov, so stop the truck near the end and take cover beside the building there. Pull out a weapon and take out the five marked thugs, who each have a large green arrow above their head. When done, run to the nearby safe zone to finish the mission.
- Paddy wagon is a slang term for police vans used to transport large numbers of criminals and dates back to the early 1900s. Though the origin is disputed, two theories exist that both revolve around the term 'Paddy', short for the Irish name Patrick, which was often used as a derogatory term for an Irishman.
- One theory states that due to the high crime levels among Irish immigrants, you could often see many 'Paddys' loaded into the back of these wagons.
- Another one claims that because Irish immigrants often made up a large portion of some city’s police forces, these were the wagons driven by the 'Paddys'.
