Edit
Soon after learning about the death of his cousin Brian O'Neill who was stabbed in the neck and killed by Vito Scaletta in 1945, Mickey takes control over the gang and orders the death of Vito as revenge for the murder of his cousin while the two were in prison together. After learning about Vito's early release from Hartmann Federal Penitentiary, Mickey and some of his crew drove to Vito's house armed with Molotov Cocktails. While there, Mickey orders his crew to burn Vito's house to the ground, but Vito survives the attack and drives to Joe Barbaro's appartment and asks for his help to confront Mickey. Joe agrees, and the two drive to the Hill of Tara, a bar located in Kingston where Mickey and his crew usually hang out at. After arriving at the bar, Joe and Vito confront Mickey about the attack and after a bitter exchange of words between the three, a gunfight ensues in the bar. After killing all of Mickey's crew in the bar, he tries to escape in his car with Joe and Vito in hot pursuit after him and eventually killing him in the chase. If Mickey gets away in his car, he presumably leaves Empire Bay as he is never seen nor heard from again. If Vito and Joe are still chasing Mickey, the chase ends at a nearby garage where Mickey and two guards open fire on Vito & Joe.
