Healthboxes are the only way apart from entering a new mission and using cheat codes to regain health in Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven. They can be found on walls in most missions and are marked by a red cross on its orange surface. In Free Ride, there's a health box outside of the Lost Heaven General Hospital the player can use at a cost of $1000. Unlike other health boxes which regenerates only 40 health points - the box at the hospital fills the health bar all the way up to 100 again.
