Like the Schubert Extra Six, Crusader Chromium and Wright, the Guardian Terraplane is a standard mid-1930s car of a sleek and rounded design. Because of this, the car can be confused with its aforementioned counterparts, but can be identified by its sloping front grille and a slightly high ride height. As implied by name, the car is a replication of the real-life Hudson Terraplane, specifically the 1936-1937 models (although grille design cues from the 1934-1935 models are also visible).
All three variants are only available in Umber, Beige or Black.
As indicated by the Carcyclopedia, the performance statistics of the Guardian Terraplane are identical for all variants:
- Weight: 1,316 kg
- Power: 101 HP (74 kW)
- Maximum Speed: 87 MPH (140 km/h)
- Engine: Six cylinder
- Swept volume: 3474 ccm
- Gear box: Three speed
On the road, performance is brisk; superior to the likes of the Crusader Chromium but on par with the Wright. The Terraplane features a powerful engine, and due to its relatively light weight, acceleration is sharp. Again due to weight, handling is superior to the similar models aforementioned
The Guardian Terraplane is first seen during You Lucky Bastard, in both the 4-door and coupe versions, and is thereafter seen in traffic.
