"Potomac Indian - The Professional's Pick."
— Billboard advertisement

The Potomac Indian is a vehicle in Mafia II.

Design[]

The Potomac Indian is a four-door sedan with a classically distinctive body style. This mid-sized car offers the characteristic look of the 1950s era, but it's somewhat hampered by an engine that's under powered for its size and weight.

Trivia[]

  • The vehicle is based on the 1953 Pontiac Chieftain.
  • It can be stored in garages or sold at Bruski's Scrap & Salvage.
  • This vehicle returns in Mafia III as the Potomac Indiana. However, billboards around Sinclair Parish still advertise the car as the Potomac Indian.
  • In the base game, the one driven in The Wild Ones is the only supercharged vehicle in the game without either of the Jimmy DLCs installed.
  • In Jimmy's Vendetta it is stated that Potomac went out of business and the Indian is guaranteed to become a classic. However, as both Jimmy DLCs are set in an alternate timeline of 1950s Empire Bay, it is not meant to be canon with the Mafia series.
  • The Indian is mentioned in a WWII and Empire Bay radio spot, where it's stated that you can donate "a rusted out fender from that old Potomac Indian", suggesting the Indian model has been around since at least the early 1940s.
