The C96 Pistol is a weapon in Mafia II.
Description[]
The C96 is a semi-automatic pistol that was popular with many European military officers. The in-game model has the detachable 10 round box magazine variant, but they also came with a fixed 10 round magazine loaded with a stripper clip.
Specifications[]
The weapon has a magazine capacity of 10 rounds and the player can carry an additional 5 magazines for a total of 60 rounds. It has a semi-automatic rate of fire with a very low amount of recoil. The long barrel and high-velocity cartridge give it superior accuracy over other pistols. It occupies a slot in the right of the weapons HUD along with other one handed weapons.

- This weapon is based on the Mauser C96.
- The in-game C96 pistol uses .45 ammunition, which was only available on the Chinese version of the weapon.
- The C96 pistol earned the nickname "Broomhandle" by American servicemen because of its round wooden handle.
