The M1 Garand is a weapon in Mafia II.
Description[]
The weapon was the first semi-automatic rifle to be generally issued to the infantry of any nation. Called "The Greatest Battle Implement Ever Devised" by General George S. Patton, the Garand officially replaced the bolt-action M1903 Springfield as the standard service rifle of the United States Armed Forces in 1936.
Specifications[]
The weapon has a capacity of 8 rounds and the player can carry an additional 32, for a total of 40 rounds. It's a semiautomatic rifle with minimal recoil and extremely accurate at long range. It occupies a slot in the bottom of the weapons HUD along with other rifles.
