Watercraft

Watercraft are vehicles used in water, including ships, boats, hovercraft, and submarines, that appear in the Mafia Series.

Mafia[]

Situated along the shore of Lake Michigan, Lost Heaven is home to the Port of Lost Heaven, the largest harbor in the city and a major shipping port for the region where cargo ships can be seen offloading goods.

Appearances[]

Lost Heaven is home to the Lost Heaven Queen, a luxury steamliner owned by the city and used for various celebrations. In Happy Birthday!, Tommy Angelo boards the Lost Heaven Queen to kill the City Councilor during his birthday celebration.

Mafia II[]

Port 3 — Cargo ship in the Port of Empire Bay

The city of Empire Bay is a major shipping port along the Eastern Seaboard. As such, the Port is used by cargo ships, fishing vessels, sailboats and other personal pleasure craft. The Culver River cuts through the city and features a Yacht Club upriver from the Culver Dam.

Appearances[]

They're first seen when the Scaletta Family arrive in Empire Bay from Sicily. Boats and ships can be seen at the docks where Derek Pappalardo runs a Vehicle Export racket for stolen luxury cars, which are loaded onto cargo ships bound for the black market in South America. An Easter egg of a ship resembling the RMS Titanic can also be seen off the coast of Empire Bay.

Mafia III[]

Real Nice Time 3 — The Delphine in Real Nice Time

Watercraft play a much larger role in Mafia III, and range from simple barges and personal watercraft, to luxury riverboats and cargo ships. There's even a legendary ghost ship found in Bayou Fantom. Players can find and operate boats on the many canals and waterways around New Bordeaux, Bayou Fantom, North Lake, and Anderson Bay.

Appearances[]

They make appearances in many of the games missions beginning in The Home Fires Burn, when Lincoln and his crew make their escape from the Federal Reserve heist in a speedboat. Later on Lincoln confronts Lou Marcano onboard his personal riverboat the Delphine, and in Stones Unturned Lincoln and John Donovan travel to an Unknown Island by boat, eventually boarding a Submarine to confront Connor Aldridge.

Mafia: Definitive Edition[]

Watercraft appear in Mafia: Definitive Edition, including the Lost Heaven Queen, ships at the Lost Heaven Harbor, and personal watercraft can be seen in use on some waterways. Outside of exploits, watercraft cannot be driven by the player.
