Leo's Prison Gang is a criminal organization in Mafia II.
History[]
Background[]
The gang is a group of inmates at Hartmann Federal Penitentiary that operated under Leo Galante and participated in fights among other prison groups that Leo would arrange and make bets on.
Fight Club[]
Leo's main fighter is Pepé Costa. After a sparring match with Vito Scaletta in 1945, Leo sees promise in Vito, and adds him to the roster as a secondary to Pepé. Their main rivals and fight competition are inmates from the Bombers, Triad and Irish gangs.
Leo uses Vito to handle smaller fights while Pepé trains for his big fight with Irish gang leader Brian O'Neill. However, fearing they might lose, the Irish gang jump Pepé, breaking his arm and leaving him unable to fight. In retaliation Leo and Pepé arrange for O'Neill to be alone in the gym with no guards present and send Vito in to bust him up as they did Pepé. O'Neill proves a tough opponent, but Vito holds his own, and when O'Neill pulls out a knife Vito has no choice but to kill him.
