"When Lincoln Clay went after the mob, he inflicted more damage than all the wars and hurricanes combined."
Jonathan Maguire

Jonathan Maguire is a character in Mafia III.

History[]

Jonathan Maguire was recruited out of college by the FBI in 1966. His first assignment was in Chicago, and he was then transferred to New Bordeaux in 1968. He stayed there until 1986, when he was promoted to Assistant Director of the Criminal Enterprise Branch. He stayed with the bureau until his retirement in 1999. He was assigned to investigate the Marcano Crime Family as well as Lincoln Clay after he launched a war against them.

On the night Sammy's Bar burned down, a woman in Delray Hollow witnessed Sal and Giorgi Marcano with another associate fleeing the burning building, prompting Maguire to prepare charges against Sal Marcano. However, Maguire was stonewalled by Judge Holden, a corrupt judge who was on Marcano's payroll, which Maguire would later discover after Holden was assassinated.
