The First Baptist Church is a location in Mafia III.
History[]
The First Baptist Church was the main place of worship for the residents of Delray Hollow until it was firebombed in 1962 by unknown perpetrators. Given the high degree of poverty in the Hollow, the church sat neglected and rotting for years until Sammy Robinson, who had gradually been investing more of his illicit earnings into charitable acts, provided the funds needed for a full renovation which was never fully completed. After Sammy's death and the elimination of the Black Mob in 1968, Giorgi Marcano handed control of the Hollow over to Ritchie Doucet and the Dixie Mafia, who quickly set up a hub for processing heroin inside the church with "Four-Finger" Charlie Kincaid in charge. Dixie soldiers patrolled the church grounds while black women worked in the back cutting and packaging the heroin into crates, where it would then be sent to enforcers for distribution.
After Lincoln Clay wiped out the heroin supply and got rid of Kincaid, he handed control of First Baptist over to Cassandra and the Haitian Mob. The Haitians permitted local residents to use the church, but also took over part of the property to establish a weed racket. [2] Emmanuel Lazare, the underboss of the Haitian Mob, keeps an office in the back of the church where he manages the logistics of marijuana trafficking.
The church consists of the main building along with a fellowship hall in the back. There is also a garage and a boathouse, as well as picnic and playground areas on the grounds.
