The C96 Pistol is a weapon in Mafia II.

Originally produced by German arms manufacturer Mauser from 1896 to 1937, the C96 is a semi-automatic pistol that was popular with many European military officers. The one sold at Harry's Gun Shop is the detachable 10 round box magazine variant, but they also came with a fixed 10 round magazine loaded with a stripper clip.

The weapon has a magazine capacity of 10 rounds and the player can carry an additional 5 magazines for a total of 60 rounds. It has a semi-automatic rate of fire with a very low amount of recoil. The long barrel and high-velocity cartridge give it superior accuracy over other pistols. It occupies a slot in the right of the weapons HUD along with other one handed weapons.

The C96 pistol is first seen in Chapter 1, where the player can pick one up inside the town hall that Vito's squad is overtaking. They're not available again until Chapter 8, when they can be bought from Harry's Gun Shop.

In all three Mafia II DLCs they're available for purchase at Harry's shop from the beginning.
