Apartment 233 is a run down apartment located on Misery Lane, in Sand Island and overlooking The Distillery. Because of its ideal location for attacking any individual seeking to enter the distillery through its Misery Lane entrance - it was used by Vito Scaletta, Joe Barbaro and Henry Tomasino to ambush Sidney Pen in the chapter The Buzzsaw.

On the table in the apartment, one can find a loaded Colt M1911A1 with 7 extra clips as well as a sandwich the player can use to replenish any health he/she might have lost from the firefight with Sidney Pen's guards.
