Trivia[]

  • A number of the album covers are anachronistic to the games time period. Whilst all the songs are from the 60's with a few exceptions for some early 70's song, some of the album covers came out anywhere between a few months to several decades after the game's early-mid 68 setting. These covers include
    • Dusty in Memphis by Dusty Springfield - 18th January 1969
    • Green River by Creedence Clearwater Revival - 3rd August 1969
    • Willy and the poor boys by Creedence Clearwater Revival - 2nd November 1969
    • High and Low by Lightnin' Slim - 1971
    • Love Child by Diana Ross and the Supremes - 13th November 1968
    • Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones - 6th December 1968
    • Box of Fudge by Vanilla Fudge - 2010
      • Box of fudge is a series of 4 CDs released in 2010 and never had a vinyl pressing to begin with
  • Whilst all of the previous albums are totally anachronistic to the games setting, the following are anachronistic to the prologue mission The Home Fires Burn (Which takes place between the 20th - 27th of February 1968). Despite this the album covers can still be collected during this period.
    • This is Clarence Carter by Clarence Carter - 15th June 1968
    • Wheels of fire by Cream - 14th June 1968 (US release)
    • Cheap Thrills by Big Brother and the Holding Company - 12th August 1968
    • At Folsom Prison by Johnny Cash - May 6th 1968
      • Note that this also the only album cover in the game where none of the recordings from the album actually appear in-game. This is because the two songs featured (Folsom Prison Blues and Ring of Fire) are the versions from 'Johnny Cash and his hot and blue guitar' and 'Ring of Fire: The best of Johnny Cash' albums respectively. The songs on the 'Folsom Prison Blues' album are live recordings taken during Johnny's visit to Folsom State Prison in January 1968
    • Wish it Would Rain by The Temptations - 29th April 1968
